Work Experience
Throughout my time working towards a degree, I have worked several jobs while maintaining a high GPA. Just before applying to Appalachian State University, I worked as a young professional in the outdoor industry for an independent marketing agency where I gained skills working with a small team and completing projects from a home-based office. After enrolling in school, I began working at an outdoor aerial adventure company, quickly became a manager, and maintained that position for several years.
My employers have appreciated my attention to detail, adaptability to high-stress situations, communication skills, and professional demeanor. I work well with a team or independently to ensure projects or assignments are handled efficiently and effectively.
I currently work as a zipline guide. I spend my days outside interacting with tourists gaining intense customer service skills. Above is a peek into my office!
